On the 15th and 16th of June, Lenie Boya proudly attended the long-awaited Miss England 2013 finals as the official sponsor of Miss Oxfordshire, Lydia Williamson. Both Lenie and Lydia had an incredible experience taking part in the national event, surrounded by talent, creativity, and elegance.
For the competition, Lenie designed and created two exclusive dresses that reflected her artistic vision and commitment to sustainable fashion.
The first, an eco-friendly couture dress titled “Lenie’s Picasso Inspiration,” was made from 21 different recycled materials — nearly half of Oxford’s recycling, as Lenie humorously noted.
The second, a breathtaking emerald-green evening gown, featured over 30 metres of rich fabrics with a four-foot-long trail, embellished with over 5,000 Swarovski crystals — earning it the name “5000 Swarovski Elegance.”
The result was a stunning, timeless look that highlighted Lydia’s grace and elegance on stage. Attending the Miss England finals and meeting other incredible contestants was an inspiring milestone in Lenie’s creative journey.
